She is on the board of directors for Talespinner Children’s Theatre, Cleveland’s only professional theater for young audiences, located in The Detroit- Shoreway neighborhood.She loves Cleveland, our restaurants and so many hidden gems!
Lori GavelLeasing Team
Lori is a dedicated Leasing Professional with two decades of successful experience in the multifamily industry. Lori specializes in providing responsive customer support with the highest level of resident relations and believes in nurturing strong, lasting relationships with residents.
As a Mother of four and new Nana to two beautiful grandchildren, Lily and Maxwell, when she’s not helping people find their next home, she enjoys spending time with family, sunny days, watching reality TV and traveling the world with her soon-to-be (October, 2021) hubby – especially mountain vacations!
Lori joined the Landmark Team in August, 2020 and her personal motto is “Just Be Kind!”
Dan RossDirector of Operations | Browns Season Ticket Holder (for now) | Avid Hiker
Dan Ross has been in the property management business for more than 30 years and has been The Director of Operations for The Landmark Companies since 2005. He is passionate about the transformation of Cleveland and Indianapolis’ urban residential neighborhoods. Dan is active in the community and the current President Elect of the North Ohio Apartment Association (2017).
Dan enjoys interacting with all our residents and “relishes in the uniqueness of every living space we have to offer”. He is an avid Cleveland sports fan and still holds The Browns season tickets, because he knows that the year he gives them up will be the year they win it all!! Dan turns to nature on the weekends and hikes 10-15 miles through the local northeast Ohio Metro Parks.
Doug BurnettMaintenance Supervisor
Doug has been a member of the Landmark team since 2010 as a maintenance technician. He is jack of all trades and friends with many of the residents. Doug lives in the suburbs of Cleveland with his wife and three boys and enjoys riding his motorcycle with his fraternal twin.
Amanda LibbeyResidential Operations Associate
Amanda joined the Landmark team in February of 2019 as a concierge. She was promoted to Residential Operations Associate in September 2020 and is excited about the new role.
Amanda enjoys trying different restaurants throughout Cleveland, hiking on the weekends with her three pups, and going to Disney World every chance she gets.
Destinee joined the Landmark Team in October of 2020. She’s a lifelong native of Cleveland’s suburbs and graduate of Cleveland Heights High School. Destinee attended the University of Toledo where she studied Criminal Justice and is also the Founder of Neat Freaks Cleaning Company.
Destinee enjoys getting to know the Landmark residents and loves helping people solve problems.

John M CarneyPrincipal
John joined The Landmark Companies in 2016 after seven years of living with his family in Australia. He’s an active real estate investor and returned to Cleveland to work on new developments and acquisitions for The Landmark Companies.
He is the author of ‘10,000 Miles to the American dream’, ‘Real Estate is A Team Sport’ and the host of the podcast, The Real Estate Locker Rooms Show. John enjoys skiing, endurance events, traveling and spending time with his wife and two kids.
John currently holds an Ohio real estate sales license and a BA in Political Science from Miami University.
Michael CarneyVice President | Proud Wildcat | Proud Buckeye
Michael started with The Landmark Companies in 2002. He’s responsible for sourcing new acquisitions and the management of current Landmark assets. He proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Cleveland Improvement Corporation and the Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation. Mike is considered an urban pioneer and is one of Downtown Cleveland’s loudest cheerleaders.
Mike’s an active donor to the Playhouse Square Foundation where enjoys taking in a variety of live shows. He holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Loyola University of Chicago.
